FHC Beijing 2009 每 The International Food & Hospitality Event for Beijing and North China


FHC Beijing 2009, the 8th International exhibition for the food, drink, hospitality, foodservice, bakery & retail industries opens Tues, 9th June, 2009 and runs for 3 days in its NEW BIGGER VENUE, The NEW HALL, China National Agriculture Exhibition Centre conveniently located in Chaoyang district, Beijing.

FHC Beijing 2009 is the longest running and largest international food & hospitality trade show taking place in Beijing this year. Now occupying 8,000 sqm in its NEW BIGGER VENUE.

FHC Beijing 2009 will showcase imported food, drink, wine and foodservice equipment from over 120 exhibitors from 17 different countries and regions including 8 national pavilions. FHC Beijing 2009 welcomes for the first time national pavilions from Argentina, Italy and Thailand and welcomes the return of Korea, Poland, Spain, Sri Lanka and the USA.

Ambassadors from Argentina and Spain will join guests from the Chinese hospitality sector and other national group dignitaries at the official opening of FHC Beijing 2009 at 9:30am, Tues 9th June 2009.

Italy will host 3 days of live cooking demonstrations and seminars on Parma and Prosciutto hams, cheeses, pasta, olive oil, water, wine and coffee. Spain presents Spanish ham, cheeses, olive oil & products, cereals and wine including a wine seminar from Foreign Trade Institute of Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX). The Korean Dairy Industry Association presents dairy and baby food products, and come and see wines from Wines of Argentina and fruits from Thailand.

All exhibitors offer importers, distributors, traders, hotels, restaurants, retailers, caterers and manufacturers a delicious range of fresh, preserved, frozen, meat, vegetables, pasta, sauces, fruits, diary, bakery, tea & coffee, confectionary, snacks, wine, beer, alcoholic drinks, foodservice equipment, tableware and much more.

FHC Beijing 2009 features an extensive line up of professional events and seminars including:

5th FHC Beijing International Culinary Arts Competition - Chefs compete over different categories including pastry, vegetable carving, live cooking and plated displays to win cash and other prizes. A highlight of the cooking competition will be the category, Asian Appetizer incorporating Spanish Olive Oil. The winner of this category will present their winning dish on Mr. Na Wei*s from &Na Xiao Zui 每 Family Kitchen* new Spanish Olive Oil TV Show, filmed onsite.

The Great Chefs of Beijing Gala Lunch 每 Great Chefs will showcase their culinary skills to invited industry guests from the food, hospitality and retail sectors.
